1. How Do I Become A Tutor?
To become an Elite Tutoring Tutor, register with us by filling out the “become a tutor” form and submit your application. Remember to set your availability.
3. How Do I Get Started?
If you have registered, please check your email for an “welcome message” from Elite tutoring. You will find your login credentials, and a confirmation receipt, proofing your application went through.
Login to our website using the username and the password sent to your inbox.
You will find the calendar, and details of your availability as provided while registering. You can change your availability at anytime.
5. How Do I Find My Tutoring Opportunities?
When you login, you will find “request box” labeled “you have x new requests”. Click on the dialog message to find student requests. To see the request details, click on each and the request will appear (so long as it is still open). You can reply, deny, accept, ignore, or delete the requests. Note that any response to the student request will be sent to the student’s private inbox and the student’s external email.
2. How Do I See My Upcoming Classes?
Login to our website using your personal username and password. Upon successful login, the calendar appears on the first page. You will find upcoming classes on the calendar.
4. How Do I Change My Availability?
Login to our website using your personal username and password. On the first page, you will find your availability information. To change your availability, click on “change availability” make the changes, then click “update” to capture the changes.
6. How Do I Accept/Cancel Students Request?
Go to the “request box”, Click on the dialog message labeled “you have x new requests”, click on the request will appear (so long as it is still open). You will see reply, deny, accept, ignore, or delete the requests:
- Click “Reply” To respond to the student or to seek clarification
- Click “Accept” To agree to the request and start tutoring the student
- Click “Deny” To stop receiving requests from the student
- Click “ignore” if you are not ready to accept the request
- Click “delete” To remove the notification from your request box
- Any response is sent to both the Student private inbox and their external email (saying they have a reply, which will link to the website, like Facebook messages).

1. How Do I Register?
To find a tutor on Elite Tutoring, register with us by filling out the “become a student” form and submit your application. Remember to add the subjects you need help in, and indicate any tutor preferences.
3. How Do I Send Requests To A Tutor?
Login to our website, on the homepage you will see the “Find tutor” tool.
Enter the subject, your zip code and select your current grade. Click “find now” to see list of the available tutors, based on your set preferences.
You may use the advanced search button for additional search fields.
Click on the tutor you want to see the full profile. Check the tutors details to find out if the tutor is a suitable match based on the qualities you want to consider. At the bottom, you will see the “Request Tutor” button. Click on the button, and we will send a notification to the tutor.
5. How Do I Check Tutors Profile?
After you enter the search query, the search results will feature a list of relevant tutors. Click on the relevant tutor to see the full information.
You will also see a green light indicating that the tutor is online, or a gray light indicating the tutor is offline.
Check the tutor’s details to find out if the tutor is a suitable match based on the qualities you want to consider.
At the bottom, you will see the “Request Tutor” button. Click on the button, and we will send a notification to the tutor.
2. How Do I Cancel a Request?
Login to the website, go to “my requests” tab, select the request, and click Delete/cancel. Whenever you cancel or update the request, the tutor shall receive a notification.
4. How Do I Know If the Tutor Accepted My Request?
After you have sent the request to your preferred tutor, the tutor will find the notification and he can reply, deny, accept, ignore, or delete the requests. When the teacher responds, you will receive a notification on your email and on the system indicating the type of response.
6. How Can I Update the Request?
Login to the website, go to “my requests” tab, select the request, and select “amend this request”.
You may change the date, time or even expire the request. Note that the changes are subject to the availability of the respective tutor.
The changes you make to the requests will be sent to the tutor. You may send a message to the tutor, indicating why you are changing the request.
